The 2006 BMW 3 Series Sedan is a 4-door, 5-passenger luxury sports sedan, available in 4 trims, ranging from the 325i to the 330xi. Upon introduction, the 325i is equipped with a standard 3.0-liter, I6, 215-horsepower engine that achieves 20-mpg in the city and 30-mpg on the highway. The 330xi is equipped with a standard 3.0-liter, I6, 255-horsepower engine that achieves 19-mpg in the city and 28-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims, and a 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional. The 2006 BMW 3 Series Sedan is redesigned for 2006.
