The 2007 Jaguar XJ-Series is a 4-door, 5-passenger luxury sedan, or luxury sports sedan, available in 5 trims, ranging from the XJ8 to the Super V8. Upon introduction, the XJ8 is equipped with a standard 4.2-liter, V8, 300-horsepower engine that achieves 18-mpg in the city and 27-mpg on the highway. The Super V8 is equipped with a standard 4.2-liter, V8, 400-horsepower, supercharged engine that achieves 17-mpg in the city and 24-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims. The 2007 Jaguar XJ-Series is a carryover from 2006.
