The 2007 Jaguar S-Type is a 4-door, 5-passenger luxury sedan, or luxury sports sedan, available in 3 trims, ranging from the 3.0-Liter to the 4.2-Liter R. Upon introduction, the 3.0-Liter is equipped with a standard 3.0-liter, V6, 235-horsepower engine that achieves 19-mpg in the city and 28-mpg on the highway. The 4.2-Liter R is equipped with a standard 4.2-liter, V8, 400-horsepower, supercharged engine that achieves 17-mpg in the city and 23-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims. The 2007 Jaguar S-Type is a carryover from 2006.
